Day 01: Arrival At Paro (2250m) And Transfer To Hotel

Early In The Morning We Receive You From Paro International Airport, And Transfer You To The Confirmed Hotel. After Check-In In Hotel And With Rest You Will Be Taken To Visit Rinpung Dzong, Built In 1646 And Now Houses Of Government Offices And Religious Institutions, As Do All The Dzongs (Forts) Currently. Cross A Traditional Wooden Bridge On The Way To The Dzong. Visit Kichu Lhakhang, The Oldest Temple In The Country. Visit Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), Built In 1646 To Commemorate Bhutan's Victory Over Tibetan Invaders During The 1600s. On A Clear, Enjoy The Views Of Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan's Second-Highest Mountain At 7,329 Meters, From The Village Below The Dzong. In The Evening, You Will Stroll Through The Paro Town.

Day 02: Hiking And Drive From Paro To Thimphu (2350m) - 54Km/2hrs

After Breakfast In Paro Hotel You Will Hike To Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, Bhutan's Most Famous Monastery. Guru Rinpoche (8th Century’s Indian Saint) Is Said To Have Flown On The Back Of A Tiger To Meditate In A Cave Where Taktsang Monastery Now Stands. It Is Perched On The Edge Of A Steep Cliff, About 900 Meters Above Paro Valley. The Hike To The Monastery Makes For A Nice Half-Day Excursion. Lunch Will Be Served In The Cafeteria On The Way. In The Afternoon We Drive To Thimphu. In The Evening We Explore Thimphu, The Capital Of Bhutan, And Observe The Lifestyle Of The People. We Also Visit Some Interesting Handicraft Shops. The Overnight Accommodation Is Set For You In Thimphu At A Hotel.

Day 03:Explore Around Thimphu

Today After Breakfast You Will Visit The King's Memorial Chorten (Built In Memory Of The Third King Of Bhutan Who Reigned From 1952-1972), The Radio Tower (For A Great View Of Thimphu Valley And The Thimphu Dzong), And The Zoo, Which Contains The National Animal Of Bhutan- The Takin. From There You Will Visit The Nunnery Temple, The National Library (Which Houses Ancient Manuscripts) And The National Institute Of Traditional Medicine. After A Relaxing Lunch, You Will Visit The Textile Museum, The Handicraft Emporium, The Traditional Paper Factory And The Majestic Tashichhodzong. In The Evening, You Can Stroll Through Thimphu Town And Absorb The Life Style Of The People.

Day 04: Punakha (Day Excursion)

After Breakfast We Depart In Our Vehicles For Punakha. Leaving Thimphu, The Road Climbs Steeply Through A Forest Of Pine And Cedar Festooned With Hanging Lichen High. As We Approach The Docho La - 'La' Means 'Pass' (3050m), Breathtaking Panoramic Views Of The Mighty Himalayas Are Spread Out Around Us. After Lunch In The Restaurant In The Town Then Drive To Punakha Dzong, The Former Capital Of Bhutan, And Visit Dzong, Which Is Noteworthy Both For Being One Of The Most Beautiful Dzongs In Bhutan And Also For Having Been Built By The First Shabdrung In 1637. On The Way Back From Punakha, You Will Stop At Metshina Village And Take A 20-Minute Walk Through The Rice Fields To Chhimi Lhakhang, Which Is A Fertility Temple, Where You May Receive A Special Fertility Blessing If You Wish. Then Return Back To Thimphu Through Same Highway To Spend Your Overnight At Same Hotel.

Day 05: Drive To Paro (45 Minutes) And Final Departure For Back To Home

After Early Breakfast, Drive To Airport For Departure. Today You Bid Farewell To The Himalayan Kingdom And Her Friendly People. Druk Air Generally Departs In The Early Morning To Avoid Adverse Weather Conditions. Therefore, After Taking Breakfast, We Transfer You To The Airport In The Morning Depending On The Flight Schedule And Your Destination.
